Scouting Report: May 4, 2012 It’s May, We Warm: A Trifecta of Disease, 1st Waitea, Microdochium patch, Dollar spot returns, and Tim says "Early Dollar Spot Research" It became May and well... we warmed. Waitea research. Waitea’s bright yellow ring symptoms began about the 1st week of May in Chicago. It’s timing is approximately 2-4 weeks earlier than usual (based on data collected across 4 previous years) on a Poa green at Biltmore Country Club in N. Barrington, Illinois. Settle 5-7-12
